Jon Blanchard

Jon Blanchard is a visionary hotelier, hospitality pioneer, and creative force behind some of the most transformative hospitality projects in the country. With an extensive track record spanning over $1 Billion in transacted real estate and more than 1,400 hotel keys developed to date, Jon has consistently brought bold, design-driven concepts to life. He first gained national recognition by leading Downtown Los Angeles’ hospitality renaissance, notably through the historic restoration of the United Artists Building and Theatre into the award-winning Ace Hotel—Downtown LA’s first adaptive reuse hotel project. Jon is the founder of BLVD Hospitality which was formed in 2009. After 16 years Jon turned the page and formed JB Hotel Group which has a focus on developing independent hotels around the world. With his creative vision leading the way, this newest chapter is set to bring his passion and experience to new markets.

In 2020, Jon acquired the iconic Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica and led its meticulous restoration, reintroducing it in 2023 with a vibrant new identity that honors its Art Deco legacy while ushering in a new era of seaside sophistication. The Georgian set the tone for what is to come from JB Hotel Group.

Currently, Jon is developing a ground-up lifestyle hotel in Anaheim, California—which aims to redefine the modern lifestyle hospitality brand through innovation, design, and cultural resonance. With his sights set on future developments across North Americas and Europe, Jon Blanchard continues to shape the next generation of hospitality experiences.
